quando venerunt Ziphei et dixerunt Saul nonne Davidabsconditus est apud nos

Deus in nomine tuo salva me et in fortitudine tua ulciscereme

53:4
Deus exaudi orationem meam auribus percipe verba oris mei

53:5
quia alieni insurrexerunt adversus me et fortes quaesieruntanimam meam et non posuerunt Deum in conspectu suo semper

53:6
ecce Deus auxiliatur mihi Dominus sustentans animam meam

53:7
reddet malum insidiatoribus meis in veritate tua disperdeeos

53:8
voluntarie sacrificabo tibi confitebor nomini tuo Dominequoniam bonum est

53:9
quoniam ex omni tribulatione liberavit me et inimicos meosdispexit oculus meus

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

053:002
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

053:003
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

053:004
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

053:005
There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

053:006
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
